Ange made us feel so comfortable during such a vulnerable yet special time in our lives. How do we schedule a newborn session when due dates are unpredictable?
Great question — and totally normal to wonder. We book your session based on your estimated due date, knowing that things may shift. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions per month, which gives us the flexibility to adjust once your baby arrives. We’ll stay in touch as your date approaches, and I’ll be ready to meet you when the time is right.
What if I book a Fresh 48 and the plan changes?
No stress at all. Birth and recovery are unpredictable, and I fully respect that. If we’re unable to move forward with a Fresh 48 in the hospital or birthing center, we’ll simply adjust and transition to a newborn session instead. I’ll work around your baby’s schedule and your comfort — always.
I want to do an in-home session, but I’m worried my home won’t be “photo ready.”
Please don’t worry about that — ever. I’ve worked in all kinds of homes, and as long as there’s a window, I can make magic. I’ll guide you on how to prepare a few simple areas if needed, but truly — any home is a good home when it comes to capturing connection.
What if my baby is fussy or needs to feed during the session?
That’s completely expected — and encouraged! Newborn sessions are unrushed and fully centered on your baby’s needs. We’ll pause for feeding, soothing, or snuggles as often as needed. There’s no pressure to perform — just space to be together and let the moments unfold naturally.
